Cancellation & Refund Policy

FinLawExperts is committed to fair and transparent refund practices. This policy outlines when and how you can cancel a consultation booking and receive a refund.

1. Refund Eligibility

Refund eligibility is determined automatically based on how far in advance you cancel before your scheduled appointment:

2. How to Cancel a Booking

Log in to your FinLawExperts account and go to My Bookings tab.

Find the booking you wish to cancel and click the "Cancel Booking" button.

The system will automatically check your refund eligibility and show you whether you qualify for a refund.

Select a reason for cancellation and confirm.

If eligible, your refund will be processed within 5-7 business days to your original payment method.

3. Refund Method

All refunds are processed through Razorpay back to the original payment method used during booking. This includes credit cards, debit cards, UPI, net banking, and wallets. The refund timeline depends on your bank or payment provider:

Expert No-Show

If your expert fails to join the consultation at the scheduled time, you are entitled to a full refund regardless of when you report it. Contact us within 24 hours of the missed appointment.

Technical Issues

If the FinLawExperts platform experiences technical issues that prevent the consultation from taking place, a full refund will be issued automatically.

Duplicate Bookings

If you accidentally book the same expert for the same time slot twice, the duplicate booking will be identified and refunded in full.

Partial Consultations

If a consultation ends significantly early due to the expert's unavailability or fault, a partial or full refund may be issued at our discretion. Please contact support with your booking details.

7. Policy Changes

FinLawExperts reserves the right to modify this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

8. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mohali, Punjab, India.
